The Shelter Home has become an integral part in our society, and there is a great deal of the family those do exist and have least potential to afford the old age people at homes. Although researches shows that there are great deal of problems that are bean faced by the families and the shelter houses that are being working now a days in the society. In this project our main aim to open up the eyes of the society and reach consumers.  SITUATION ANALYSIS

Dynamic changes are occurring in global environment. A remarkable recovery of economy is being observed after great global recession. Pakistan is developing country and influenced by multiple global and domestic factors. Although the overall economy of Pakistan is not well-established but individual income level is increasing. People are now more hesitant, conscious and rational. These factors lead the people send their elders to the shelter houses and have caused serious problems for the old agers.  The percentage of old age people which are being send to the shelter houses is rising and it shows that the offspring’s are more hesitant, careless and rude to the elders. This thing really reminds me the words of the great man of the century. “I fear the day technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.”

An old age home is usually the place for old people. A home for those old people who have no one to look after them. A home for those who have been thrown out of their homes by their children.

This concept in Asia has been imported from the west. The main countries of Asia where the old age homes are in excess are India

Living together with elder people in homes is our culture but children take them as a problem. Our culture says “NO” to old age homes but reality says “YES.” Our religious and ethical belief does not allow us to have old age homes in our country. According to Islamic teachings, we must be obedient and must show kindness to parents. In HOLY QURAN it is narrated that “Obeying parents, treat them respectfully is next to worshiping ALLAH”. Being grateful to your parents makes you grateful to ALLAH. Children send their old parents to old age homes this is against the teachings of Islam. In the light of Holy Quran and HOLY PROPHET’S sayings, one can understand the special place of parents in Islam.

¨ The Holy Quran says,
“Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in the life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor.”-surah Al Isra. Our Prophet (PBUH) said,

“If a person obeys his parents, attends to their needs and keep them happy and comfortable, he will attain Paradise. On the other hand, if he is disrespectful and rude to them, offends them by ignoring their needs and feelings, his place shall be in HELL”. LOWER YOURSELF TO OLD PARENTS:

Every human being having reached old age needs more service and care. The society must not ignore the rights of senior members. ALLAH...
