1.Introduction and Statement of Thesis
Today many companies are enduring the challenge of hiring, training, and retaining employees. Kudler Fine Foods employs approximately 127 individuals total from all stores. Human Resource policies at Kudler Fine Foods consists of recruiting individuals from outside the stores for entry level jobs and other positions such as managerial positions are offered to employees of Kudler before recruiting ‘outside’ prospective employees. •The Director of Administration & Human Resources at Kudler Fine Foods develops the policies such as the recruitment and selection practices, as well as directs and coordinates administrative and human resource activities. •Although Kudler Fine Foods is a successful organization many issues within Human Resources must be dealt with. 2.Thesis Statement

Human Resource policies and the Human Resource Department at Kudler are lacking compared to other Human Resource Departments and a complete overhaul of practices should be implemented to ensure a successful future for Kudler. 3.Analysis and explanation of thesis- some background information •Kudler Fine Foods is an upscale specialty food store located in the San Diego metropolitan area. Human Resources does not take many factors into consideration when drafting and implementing policies such as cost of living, improving sales, gaining new customers, and retaining old customers. •Human Resource strategies and policies at Kudler consist of: 1. Offering management or other administrative positions to individuals already employed at Kudler before offering the position to more qualified individuals. 2. Low pay for entry level employees. •The current strategies in Human Resources are keeping Kudler from expanding, improving sales, and are not adequately compensating employees. 4.Argument to support thesis with evidence
